The home automation floorplan stuff was a fun project, but I don't really use it. I found that it's not as useful as a simple dashboard page with plain buttons and cards. But it was fun to work on just as a hobby, like painting models or setting up a model train set.

It requires Home Assistant as a backend, but this seems like exactly what you're looking for.

Hey all, I just wanted to share the culmination of my six month project. Six months ago, I saw a floorplan dashboard and thought it was really cool, so I embarked on a journey of my own. The Smart Home itself is ran using Home Assistant OS, an OS specifically for smart homes. From there, I spent hundreds of hours integrating my already existing devices, and creating automations as I went along. With smart fans, smart blinds, smart lights, and even temperature sensors, my smart home has grown a lot. With everything integrated, I returned to my main goal, of making a super intuitive, user friendly dashboard. The idea was to see a light on in a room, and touch the room to turn it off. I was able to use Floorplan for HA and floorplanner.com to create this dashboard. I have included light animation and control, fan animation and control, weather animation, temperature readings from DHT22 and Wemos D1 minis scatter throughout, multiroom music control, blind control and animation, and a mail counter to keep track of how full the mailbox is. Lol I can't try. Smart home is running Home Assistant OS and the dashboard was created using Floorplan for HA. That's the simplest way to put it, but tbh I have hundreds, if not thousands, of hours into this smart home. You're going to want either a VM or a PC as the brains behind your smart home. You will the install Home Assistant OS. Once there, you'll have to Google all your devices to figure out how to integrate them with HA. Once you have everything integrated and talking to HA, you can follow this guide to setup the floorplan dashboard.

The interface is using this integration. I created the model using floorplanner and then used Inkscape to do the svg work.

For me (Roborock) works https://github.com/PiotrMachowski/Lovelace-Xiaomi-Vacuum-Map-card. It should also work for roomba.

In case you mean adding to HA: check if u can add it over the Xiaomi Miio integration and then use the xiaomi vacuum map extractor and card (both repos say the S5 is supported). I then defined zones and call the commands in a script which I expose to Google Assistant as a scene called 'clean the bathroom' for instance.

Currently I'm using stock firmware, rooted. I just came back From Valetudo..it seems pretty stable to me, but it won't work well with the Home Assistant custom integration that I want to use. The area cleanup feature of that integration is the main way I'm using the vacuum (when I command itmanually) and it looks amazing.

If you only use cloud map extractor - its only visual. But if you install this - https://github.com/PiotrMachowski/lovelace-xiaomi-vacuum-map-card You can send commands to vacuum, draw sections etc., and it's using map from above integration. My vacuum drive to kitchen, to empty, every 10 cleanings, then google speaker says something like "Fuck that shit, i'm not cleaning anymore, until my bin is full". But i did it all in nodered, if you like, i will send you flow. I also hava aqara swithes, to controling light, but if i click both two times, vacuum drive to clean that room.
