Official r/mcresourcepack guide for creating and debugging resource packs
This guide (written by a couple of the mods from before we were mods) should walk you through resource pack creation from scratch. This includes custom textures, models, animation, etc. It also has tips for debugging problems with your existing resource packs. (We recommend taking a peak at this section before asking for help, as a lot of the common problems are discussed there.)

Guide for Bedrock [Updating this Sub]
Our resource pack guide is completely missing information about Bedrock. If you are aware of a good guide, or can write one up, we'd love to add it (or add a link).

Can anyone provide a good guide to update an existing resource pack (using custom folders) for 22w46a?
I'm pretty busy at the moment, so if anyone can beat me to writing a clear and concise set of instructions, we can add it to the sub's resource pack guide.
- What do you want to see from this sub?

Im sure this is a common question here, but where can I make one?
Here is a guide I wrote: https://github.com/Love-and-Tolerance/Resource-Pack-Guide
- Any updated guide to creating resource packs for newbies?

[a126] Automated minecart delivery system
Customized backported version of Isabella II. The Isabella packs are my favorite, I've been using them (when versions exist) from about a month after I started playing. Post-bonemouse versions are being maintained by yurisuika.

Looking for a Beta 1.7.3 Mod
Even the updated Isabella doesn't fit well with the modern versions' direction (suika had to move a lot of the new blocks away from their vanilla styling, so things that match in vanilla don't match in Isabella anymore), but Isabella is absolutely beautiful with the golden age worldgen and block palette.
- Dark RPG style texture pack that works well with vanilla builds?
What are some alternatives?
