Dialog patch for Gothic2NR/Gothic2Gold?
I've spent a good deal of time browsing mods in recent days, and I'm starting to get desperate. Is there a good patch that fixes quest/dialog bugs, such as the Lares bug, and does nothing else? Like the Ironkeep patch (after they excised the changes to balance), but more modern? Ideally something like a Gothic2NR equivalent of the Gothic 1 Community Patch by AmProsius .

Modding Gothic 1- advice/compatibility help? (especially with unPatch)
Gothic 1 Community Patch Fixes a lot of bugs and is designed to be language independent and as compatible as possible. I would not try to run this with other unofficial patches like unPatch and whatever Enhanced Gothic Patch is.

Paladin playthrough G2 which profession?
In terms of moneymaking, the higher level swords have smaller and smaller returns when calculated against the LP spent, so I don't recommend. You really want to focus your LP on reaching that 64 (or 94 if you're patient) threashold so you can start consuming bonuses like strength potions and tablets without being inefficient, so I would minimise any LP spent on side skills. (Unless you wanna use this mod).

Just beat Gothic 2 for the first time. Here are my thoughts.
I agree the LP/boost system is problematic. Workable, but you have to know how to work with it. Or get this mod.

Gothic mod tips for late 2022?
I would recommend this ninja plugin Bonus Independent Training. For me that fixes the problem with the game being too grindy while also preventing you from becoming too op.
