How is Fedora on Nvidia?
Yes, that works! If you have ever used Pop!_OS and moved to another distro, you probably miss their GPU switching functionality. Follow the instructions on this COPR repo and if you want the GNOME extension as on Pop!_OS, you can get it from here. Clone the repo, cd into it, then change the metadata.json and add a 41 so it does support Gnome 41 (not necessary on Fedora 34) and then run make and make install. Log out and log back in and then enable it in the extensions app. This method makes it possible for you to run Wayland even on the 470 driver version.

Thinkpad W520 Optimus Manager Question
I have tried optimus manager multiple times, but it never seemed to disable my card correctly and save as much power as on Pop!_OS so I installed the system76 drivers from the tutorial on the System76 website. You might as well want to grab the Gnome extension to switch GPUs from their Github. It is also available on the AUR if you don't want to compile it yourself.

Giving system76-power root privileges
I have installed Manjaro today and wanted to set up the system76-drivers with the system76-power gnome extension, but the command that the extension uses seems to require root privileges. Here is the driver and the extension. On Fedora, this kind of permission change is not necessary because apparently the copr repo takes care of that already.

AMD Razer Blade 14 (2021) - First few hours on Linux
PopOS's system-76-power actually lets you completely turn off the nvidia GPU by selecting the integrated graphics mode, which is way more power efficient.

Why the hell do Gaming Hardware brands make drivers for Mac, but not for Linux?
So if a very skilled developer reverse engineer a driver for some brands (OpenRazer as an example), I feel better about it especially if it's open source.

Dead by Daylight's Steam Deck Support is Official. Confirmed to Us by Behaviour Interactive.
Yeah I would take piper over any of that bloated peripheral software anyway, gets the job done. There's also other community projects like OpenRazer. For a keyboard I grabbed a System76 Launch, it's a bit pricey but it's super nice and fully customizable via an appimage.
