Am I super dumb or is Riverpod SO complicated?
No it is not, it had a release 3 weeks ago: https://github.com/fluttercommunity/get_it/tags so not sure what you are talking about...

Reorderable listview help!
Use a library like https://pub.dev/packages/get_it to save the list in a state object. When ever you get the list again, you get it from the state object. I don't know the library because I use riverpod, but it should be easy to use.

Ideas for a open source package
These packages implement more or less the same functionalities, as they all work with strings: recase, slugify, string_extensions, string_stats, string_unescape, html_unescape. It would be nice to bring some of these features into a single package, for example this one: https://pub.dev/packages/dartx

Dart/Flutter sound null-safety good enough??
But if you really want to do that, it's not that difficult to implement that. Either use extension functions or the package dartx, see https://github.com/leisim/dartx/blob/master/lib/src/iterable.dart#L30
