non java server creation
There has been a project which basically is an mc server on TypeScript + Node. The project is JSPrismarine. It's still in development as well. I don't know node yet (I do know TS), so I can't rlly say much abt the flying squid module. but if u want to start from scratch, take a look at the protocols and the source code used (it's based off of TCP Websocket connections I think), and go from there
