Is it safe to mod Minecraft?
Minecraft modding has grown to a point that most of these are avoided, with many passionate adults who have the knowledge to make good mods, tools and hosting sites, opposed to children and only adults interested in profiting off those children. Like anything, Minecraft modding can still be unsafe, most recently seen in the fractureiser virus that spread into some popular mods that had a lot of trust from the community. But even that had quick action from the community with ways to stop and prevent it.
