I personally haven’t dove too deep into it myself, but if you have any programming knowledge there are libraries such as https://github.com/Terbau/fortnitepy and https://github.com/fnbrjs/fnbr.js which serve as a sort of wrapper around the epic api to do things like change status and what-not, they are typically used for lobby bots, but can be used on a regular user account just fine.
