devtools VS react-native-maps

One issue that many developers face is the lack of extension support for the Flutter dev tools. There is an open issue and discussion regarding this on https://github.com/flutter/devtools/issues/1632, which was created in February 2020. Hopefully, it will be merged soon.

If you'd like a focus inspector in DevTools - similar to the widget inspector - please upvote flutter/devtools#3634 to help us prioritize.

And their docsdont seem to include any draw/edit functions.

react-native-maps is the best option for handling location and maps in react native. you can use openstreet, google maps, apple maps, or any other tile overlay. also, it provides some good examples in its repository which covers most of the use cases.
