- Flatnotes: Self-hosted note taking web app that uses Markdown files
-
What self hosted app do you wish existed?
https://github.com/dullage/flatnotes , I find it handy
-
🚀 Happy Star Wars Day! flatnotes 3.0 is now available and now includes a new dark side 🎉
I'm not opposed to this idea but there's a bit of a stumbling block to get past. See the related issue on GitHub for more details (and give it a thumbs up so I can gauge interest).

What's a software you searched to selfhost but is still missing to you ?

Looking for a simple wiki (web, not desktop) that stores backend as markdown files?
bash git clone https://github.com/Dullage/flatnotes.git cd flatnotes docker build -t dullage/flatnotes:latest . docker run --rm \ -e "FLATNOTES_USERNAME=user" \ -e "FLATNOTES_PASSWORD=changeMe!" \ -e "FLATNOTES_SECRET_KEY=aLongRandomSeriesOfCharacters" \ -p "80:80" \ dullage/flatnotes:latest Note: As no Docker volumes are mapped in the run command, notes will not be saved when the container is stopped.

Apps/Tools to create year in reviews for movies/shows recorded in trakt.tv ?
Maybe /u/IgnisDa's Ryot, /u/bonukai's MediaTracker or /u/sysLee's Movary can import and show this.
-
What are you rewriting in rust?
Rewriting MediaTracker as Ryot.
-
Looking for a unique case Movie Favorite List?
You could ask whether this feature might be added to /u/IgnisDa's Ryot, /u/bonukai's MediaTracker or /u/sysLee's Movary.
- Just watch like self hosted version?
-
Is there selfhosted alternative to Sofa
Have a look at /u/bonukai's MediaTracker and /u/sysLee's Movary
-
Movary has added support for Emby webhooks
Like the name Movary hopefully implies, the focus was on tracking movies from the start, the plan is to make Movary the best movie tracking solution, there are other FOSS alternatives for tracking multiple media types (e.g. bonukai/MediaTracker)
-
Is there an app to get notified when an episode or movie gets released?
It's pretty basic but I use MediaTracker for things I don't want/need to download.
-
Trilium Notes
As for a way to keep track of your media, give Media Tracker a try. I've been using it myself as a self hosted alternative to Trakt as well as to keep track of books and audiobooks. It also works with games, although I don't use them.
-
What's a software you searched to selfhost but is still missing to you ?
There is https://github.com/bonukai/MediaTracker and I would be happy enough with its UI despite its flaws, but it's near abandoned and doesn't offer csv import/export functionality.
