(IMPORTANT) r4 re-setup
You can seek it here - https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive/tree/main
-
Cant find R4i firmware
See if you find it here.
-
R4i-gold.eu kernel or YSMenu
You could also try the original kernel - keep in mind that it has a timebomb, so you will have to set your date and time back: (flashcard archive link)

I have a problem with r4 card for my ds
You’re SD card might be corrupted. Back up your files and reformat it and see if that helps. While you’re at it, you should really update your kernel to wood 1.62 (https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive/tree/main/files/R4_original_M3_Simply ) . The kernel you’re using is extremely outdated. Wood will give you better compatibility and a generally better user experience.

Can't run China townwars on R4 card on my Nintendo DSlite
You might also be interested in the carts which should use BL2CK which you can find here: https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive

help!!
Yes, but this cart has a timebomb in the older kernels. The latest working version can be found here: (https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive/raw/archive/files/YSMenu/r4isdhc.com/r4isdhc.com_2014-2020_DEMON_4.0b.zip), but you wont be able to use the cart if your date is set past the 3rd of September 2024 iirc
-
has anyone have any idea how to use this? i know that r4 are made for ds only but there are some of these floating around. i tried searching for the name and files but nothing. its a gba flash card of sort. uses big laptop type sd cards. let me know your thoughts
You have to find out what model it is. Google for "R4 firmware table" or similar. There's good pages with all firmwares, e.g. https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive

Do not use the r4isdhc.com (2014-2021) kernel from r4i-sdhc.com
If you wish to use the stock kernel for the cart, you will be stuck with the timebomb version for now, you can download it from here.
- Can someone help me.
-
hey, can you guys find the kernel for this flashcard?
This cart looks like an r4-pro, it will use bl2ck: https://github.com/DS-Homebrew/flashcard-archive/raw/main/files/BL2CK/BL2CK_1.30.4.zip

so this worked for like 7 years then stopped working (sd card is not corrupted i put it in my laptop and all the files are fine)
From my understanding, you can just throw the "Wood" kernal on there: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/raw/main/r4isdhc.com_Dual-Core_2013/r4isdhc.com_Dual-Core_2013_Kernel_1.63.7z

What kernel does this cart use (it has a screw holding it together if that helps)
Found it https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/blob/main/R4_original_M3_Simply/R4DS_Wood_R4_1.62.7z

SuperCard DSTwo help
The kernel on the website isn't out of date. I do have the files that I myself tested working on the GitHub pinned here: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/tree/main/SuperCard/DSTWO

R4 Gold Pro Firmware?
This cart should in theory also support the BL2CK kernel, which is better updated. Of course if that doesn't work one can fallback to the original. https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/raw/main/BL2CK/BL2CK_1.30.3.7z

Picked these up with a DS Lite the other day. Does anyone know the capabilites or have documentation of this Supercard? I can only find info on the DSone and DStwo. Curious how big an SD card it accepts.
That is an original Supercard DS, nice find very uncommon. It’s the same as the DSONE (non SDHC) it’s has it’s own version of the EOS kernel (https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/tree/main/SuperCard/DSONE). It will support maximum of 2GB SD cards so you can’t load it up with the entire DS librarys (or even just the good games). If you like the way it works but want a higher capacity SD card you can find clone DSONE SDHC (they aren’t specifically sold as SDHC but they are) on eBay and AliExpress for very little money. My main cart these days is an AliExpress DSONE, theyare great as long as the one you get isn’t defective.

Pokémon Heartgold keeps freezing on an Original R4 - Wood update needed?
You could update the kernel if you want to try that: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/raw/main/R4_original_M3_Simply/R4DS_Wood_R4_1.62.7z

I've been trying to find the right kernel for my r4 (r4i sdhc 3ds rts) but its official site shut down many months ago. Is there something I can do? I mean... Is there an alternative kernel i can use or something? Thank you in advance
And if that YSMenu doesn't work use my funny workaround YSMenu: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1Xxb56enRM45zxbcqWgcNdIxTOOZvFR2t/view?usp=sharing

Looking for the software, couldn’t find anything, does anybody have a idea or even the files itself
M3i Zero (the GMP-Z003 model) would be using Sakura 1.49a, unless someone figured out how to get anything else working on it. https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/raw/main/YSMenu/m3adapter.com/M3DS_Sakura_1.49a.7z

r4itt alternatives ?
I have a kernel that seems to be the best updated for all R4iTT carts/clones here: https://github.com/lifehackerhansol/flashcard-archive/raw/main/BL2CK/BL2CK_1.30.3.7z
What are some alternatives?
