What's up with the new policy of WhatsApp? What does it mean for people who don't use any of the other Facebook owned apps?
If you don't want to give off your phone number, just Use Element.io. It's open source too (There's a source code for the desktop client too). You don't have to trust a certain company either, anyone can open an Element server.
