What Are You Working On 202102
I finished a side project of mine. It's a terminal based audio book catalog/library. It's not for listening to stuff but to organize it (completion status, rating, ...) and to search for stuff. As an avid audio book listener I have > 100 books and whenever someone asks me for a recommendation I cannot remember anything. You can find it here: https://github.com/b0wter/fbrary

Self-Hosted Audiobook server stream > podcast app
Very cool!
My current setup is:
* Buy book on Audible
* Remove DRM with OpenAudible [0] (paid software)
* Add them to my AudioBooks Plex library
* Use Prologue [1] to listen to the books on my phone (it connects to Plex)
I like my podcast app (Overcast) a lot but it's not made for audiobooks whereas Prologue is. Also Prologue is a very well done app that has fully replaced the official Audible app for me. The only downside is no WhisperSync but I don't use that a ton.

Downloading Owned Audible Books To Computer
Check out OpenAudible, it's awesome.
- RANT: Audible - I have spend easily over $1k on your product. You have RUINED the Android App. It is grossly broken and I frankly hate you all for it. You have ruined my experience and waste my money.

Books I bought and have listened to several times are suddenly missing from my library— and Audible’s website.
Just use OpenAudible and you'll be good to go.
