facesjs VS rough

A JavaScript library for generating vector-based cartoon faces (https://zengm.com/facesjs/) by Jeremy Scheff and contributors I totally love this - and I am sure that I'll soon find good use for it.

I would even take a cartoon-looking facesjs instead. Always weirded out by the current faces

I made my face generator open source so others can use it too. I've seen it used in a few different games and other projects, which I think is pretty cool!

It could even be multiple colors, like it is for some races. But in the mean time, I'll switch to your recommended color in the next update of the faces.

It's all good, the face generator is open source and I'm glad to see others using it! It's a tiny part of making a sports sim game, anyway.

The docs don't agree with you - https://github.com/rough-stuff/rough/wiki#seed - if you use a fixed non-zero value it should be the same every time.

It's implemented as a web app and outputs an SVG file - which can then be converted to a bitmap image or PDF. Currently using Rough.js for the sketchy drawing style, but I'm interested to explore other styles and techniques, so eager to hear of any suggestions or ideas. I'll try to post an interactive demo once it's in a state that's worth sharing.

First time trying to use a JavaScript library...I want to use this library - rough.js - in a project and I'm having some trouble getting started. Here is my code right now:

I posted this a year and a half ago but got no response. Trying again now as RoughJS is currently trending, and there might be some interest. Would love to know what people think of hand-drawn style timelines.
