Update: Relay will continue to operate from July 1st. It will be moving to a subscription model in the coming weeks but, for now, it's available for everyone to use free of charge and ad-free!
I didn't know that. I thought that change was only for third party apps. Gonna tell on myself for a second, but I have a NSFW alt hooked into eternity for reddit (which now looks to be read only, rip) to archive NSFW posts and bypass reddits 1000 post limit.

I created a tool that takes your Reddit saved posts and exports them to markdown
According to Eternity I have over 2000 saved posts and 300+ saved comments. (Eternity itself would work great for my purposes except it doesn't retain the URLs for link posts; it does save the permalinks for the Reddit threads themselves but if the site dies or half the subs stay private those won't be very useful...)

Reddit claimed that their API pricing wouldn't shut out third-party apps. The pricing plan shows it's bullshit. On June 12, /r/quityourbullshit will be going dark indefinitely in protest and to save third-party apps. Click here or check out /r/Save3rdPartyApps for more information!
Someone made a database where you can set up and collect your saved post past 1000 posts. Well, not like this will matter anyway once the API pricing goes online. Almost everything will get shut down and breaks.
- This is a super elaborate title so you can always find my post now memorize it BURN THIS SHIT INTO YOUR RETINAS

How does one sort through and organize saved reddit posts?
This is where eternity comes in - it lets you 'bypass' the 1000 post limit, and indexes all your saves into a list that you can filter by subreddit, and search through.

Question regarding the Imgur ToS change
In my ~decade on Reddit I've curated a save folder with a lot of NSFW content. Using eternity I have it organized into an excel file with post titles, subreddits, date posted, and links to the comments. Using this what would be the easiest way to mass download my collection so when imgur gets wiped I still have access to things and they don't get nuked on the 15th?

Rexit v1.0.0 - Export your Reddit chats!
You might like Eternity, which exports your Reddit comments/posts/saves to a Firebase database.

I’d love a ‘Shuffle’ feature for all saved posts. I’ve saved so much over the years it would be fun to unearth some things I haven’t seen in a while
I do believe you can do this natively with Reddit Premium or with a tool like eternity

Someone just threatened a school shooting at my school
You can see all of your saved things past 1000 by using this. (I haven't tried, but some research I did a while ago says it works)

Show HN: How to simply avoid paywalls with Google Translate(archive alternative)
Paywalls are annoying in daily browsing (more in the weekends and mornings!).
https://archive.is/ is great but one thing I noticed is that not play nicely with content extraction services such as https://getpocket.com/ and I think it is more about Pocket recognizing the Archive Today service than other thing.
Google Translate is an alternative that currently works with content readers. Basically the hack is to just not use the translation at all putting the same language in the language origin and destination.

Twitter and getpocket website is not working properly on guest window.
as the title says, twitter and getpocket.com is not working properly in guest window when shield (aggressive mode) is "ON". if I off the shield then the website works properly. I am using latest version of brave browser on windows 10. I don't know its just me or anything else or the these two websites having some problems.

A psychology department at a Canadian university was rocked by a Jeffrey Epstein level sex ring scandal. On deeper investigation, however, it was discovered to be entirely fictional.
For longer articles, I really like reading with Pocket. This is going to sound like an ad, but it's an app/website made by the same non-profit foundation that makes Firefox. It lets you save articles, restart from where you left off, it tell you approximately how long (in minutes of reading time) the article is, it syncs between your devices, when you save it usually gets your around soft paywalls like the New Yorker's, it saves offline so you can read on the plane or subway. It strips away all the extraneous stuff like ads so it just shows you the article (sometimes it strips away useful things too, like pictures, for what it's worth). You can sign up for their emails and it's the only organization's email I'm happy I signed up for. They send you one email a day with a curated list of the most saved articles on the site. It's great, especially for long articles!
