E2EE: "Limit to groups" input field gone after fiddling around
so I got this weird issue that I can't set the groups allowed anymore. I already did a github issue but don't expect answers there soon as there are many unanswered issues. Anyone here have an idea how to make it work again? https://github.com/nextcloud/end_to_end_encryption/issues/404
- What’s needed to revive the E2EE app development?

Ironic
Is this official or just the silence here? https://github.com/nextcloud/end_to_end_encryption/issues/273

About Nextcloud 22 E2E support
E2E makes no sense if it depends on the server. It must only depend on the client. NC E2E depends on the server running the e2e app, rendering it useless.

I want to build a SaaS, but my customer data is a goldmine and would-be clients would be weary of giving it up due to security concerns. How to best separate them?
You might also check out this which looks like a similar approach: https://github.com/paragonie/ciphersweet

Is there a way to search hashed or encrypted data?
See also: CipherSweet, which calls these truncated PRFs "blind indexes".

Crypt/Decrypt user datas
I used https://github.com/paragonie/ciphersweet in the past, that also has a nice feature: blind index.
What are some alternatives?
Ockam - Orchestrate end-to-end encryption, cryptographic identities, mutual authentication, and authorization policies between distributed applications – at massive scale.
DoctrineEncryptBundle - :key: Encrypted symfony entities by verified and standardized libraries
Halite - High-level cryptography interface powered by libsodium
zf-doctrine-encrypt - Provides encryption and hashing with Zend Framework 3 & Doctrine 2 - provides default adapters using Halite / Sodium
PictShare - :camera: PictShare is an open source image, mp4, pastebin hosting service with a simple resizing and upload API that you can host yourself. :rice_scene:
FlashPaper - One-time encrypted password/secret sharing
Solr-Encrypted-Search - Index encrypted files, enable search on them, and not expose the data in Search
