Home Electric Usage Monitoring?
You’d need both. Install InfluxDB ( I use the OSS version) and then download the scripts at https://github.com/jertel/vuegraf The script readme walks you through how to set it up (just a json file with your Emporia account info and InfluxDB info) and kick it off. From there you can back into Influx and use there tools to run queries and create dashboards to view the data the script downloads and inserts into the database. https://imgur.com/JbVQfbA

How to monitor sump pump usage?
Supposedly you can get the data and plug it in to some other tools (https://github.com/jertel/vuegraf) to visualize things differently but I haven't gone that far, though it was the basis for my choice of energy monitor.

Home Energy Meter for A/C power draw?
I really do like the Emporia Vue system of just putting a clamp on (nearly) every circuit), especially for the price. Integration isn't great though. There is a HomeAssistant plugin, but I haven't tried it yet. There's also VueGraf, which again, I haven't tried.
What are some alternatives?
