Code (I don't think it's easily accessible outside of elementary OS)

Speed wise I am satisfied with gvim. Looks wise I am satisfied with kate, but the best UI I found to be of (from screenshots) was Code which is for Elementary OS.

While many of us had productivity-breaking issues with Files and Wingpanel kept on crashing, resources were being invested into forking Code. A lot of resources. Why not fork Albert or Ulauncher instead?

Create telegram-share.contract file and open it in Code or your text editor of choice. Change Name to Share via Telegram and Exec field to a command we discovered earlier. If English is not your primary language you can add localized Name by adding Name[language code] option. For example:

Other than the very serious issue with inode/directory association I have come to rely on it just as much as I once relied on gedit.

You can resize them! If the solution below doesn't satisfy and you want more control (like changing the font etc.) , I recommend installing "Elementary Tweaks".

I feel the elementary-tweaks developers could have contributed a lot more if they were not alienated by the public reception from the core team over the years. And still we ALL all use that (inactive) project.

I've just 🦆🦆went it, and the suggestion was to use Elementary Tweaks to achieve this.
