  • [Mock-up] App Payments by Tobias Bernard
    1 project | /r/gnome | 21 Jul 2022
Actually, come to think of it, I would definitely agree that elementaryOS was a pioneer here. They were the first to have a platform library (Granite) with easy to use, advanced widgets for app creators to use. And they implemented the ability to buy software. Both of those things definitely helped the fact that elementaryOS has an unusually-large amount of custom software written for it, by passionate users.

It built without errors here, using the master branch. I also built latest granite, the only difference from the instructions is that I prefer to install things to /usr/local to avoid problems when updating:
  • Is it possible to install Code (elementary os text editor) on zorin os lite 32 bit
    2 projects | /r/elementaryos | 5 Feb 2021
If that's the case, you can also install Granite from source. Go to https://github.com/elementary/granite/releases and download the latest release there, unzip it, open a terminal in the unzipped folder and install each of Granite's dependencies from Granite's README file by doing sudo apt install (e.g. sudo apt install meson)
