  • Increase isolation by painting exposed pads
    1 project | /r/PrintedCircuitBoard | 22 Feb 2022
I'm making a PCB that connects to mains voltage (230v). Traces carry very little current in normal operations. I checked clearance (kicad calculator) and I'm ok considering traces are covered by mask. I would like to add some "painting" or whatever product to the place where components get solder and exposed pads, to add isolation and make the PCB safer. Is there anything like that? • USB to ESP32

I also created the PDF files. I will try to export large images for my next posts :) https://github.com/crgarcia12/electronics-homeassistant-lightscontroll/tree/main/PCB/schematics-v16-espinside-jlcpcb/readme-media/documents
  • Are there ESP DevKit PCB layout diagrams for kicad available?
    2 projects | /r/esp32 | 7 Dec 2021
I am building my first PCB (link), and I find it a bit hard to figure out where to place and how to route all required components of an ESP32 Module + USB controller. I guess this was done thousands of times, so there might be a place where I could get a PCB schematics and layouts to compare with mine and optimize a bit
