Murmur3 hash plugin for nested objects?
I don't think the murmur3 hash implementation has changed since it was added as the default in version 2.0 (see the [changes](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/commits/main/server/src/main/java/org/elasticsearch/cluster/routing/Murmur3HashFunction.java)). The plugin itself has seen [more changes](https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/commits/main/plugins/mapper-murmur3) but that's IMO because of internals and not visible changes in the calculations.

Mongo or Mysql for 10tb of JSON documents, I'm questioning my previous choice.
Mysql is not as open source as postgres (long story). And you can see how open elasticsearch is by just having access to the bugs database https://github.com/elastic/elasticsearch/issue

Publish/Subscribe with Sidekiq
We needed to introduce a new service for search. As we settled on using meilisearch, we needed a way to sync updates on our models with the records in meilisearch. We could've continued to use callbacks but we needed something better.

What is Hybrid Search?
In this case, a good strategy is to use vector search only when the keyword/prefix search returns none or just a small number of results. A good candidate for this is MeiliSearch. It uses custom ranking rules to provide results as fast as the user can type.

You will need to create the vector embeddings using your third-party tool of choice (Hugging Face, OpenAI). As we published the first v1.3 release candidate, you can try out vector search today.
