dungeonz VS template-rollup-typescript

Some of you may have noticed that dungeonz.io no longer works, and that the domain name has expired.

Open-source; Code, art assets, designs, upcoming features, it's all publicly available, well maintained, and easily extendable. Check it out on GitHub to learn more about the project, and consider becoming a contributor.

All this talk of Orcs and Elves can be a bit hard for most English speakers to understand (most English speakers have another primary language). Is there anything out there, preferably web-based like aidungeon.io or dungeonz.io that is written in easy to understand English?

At the moment, I'm using Vite with Phaser 3 and haven't encountered any issues. However, today I came across this template from photonstorm: https://github.com/photonstorm/phaser3-typescript-project-template

Wanted to hear if anyone's had any experience with Photonstorm's phaser 3 / typescript / rollup template and what you did to achieve reasonable dev server hot reloading times on save? Like, I thought rollup was supposed to be a step up from webpack? But developing with it is turning into a serious pain, when every time you save a change, it takes 20 seconds to recompile before you can test your change in the browser.
