How to backup volumes?
Look for the images of containers here https://docs.linuxserver.io/ they do better images than original ones and their docker-compose files are very logical and include bind mounts allways :)
-
disadvantages of NOT using docker?
— Day 2 — 1. go to https://docs.linuxserver.io/ and have a look through all the projects they have 2. pick a project that you like: I would suggest this project as it is simple and easy to get up and running. https://docs.linuxserver.io/images/docker-overseerr 3. go inside your raspberry to the configurations folder and create a new folder named overseerr 4. copy the docker compose provided 4. go to portainer 5. go under stacks 6. add new stack 7. paste the docker compose provided 8. the only thing you would need to change here would be path/to/appdata/config to the directory you had created in step 3. It must be the full path eg. /home/dietpi/configurations/overseerr/ 9. give the stack a name 10. Hit deploy 11. Once it is completed it will show overseerr running and you can click on the port navigate to the site.
- Help a returning noob. Docker vs just plain install.

- How picky are you when it comes to sharing your Jellyfin
-
I remember seeing some good instructional graphics for sending new Plex users to help set it up. Does anyone have those on hand?
This?
- Just started with plex. Cant seem to find my media on my tv. My media does show up on laptop however.
-
Is there a way to share a plex server with anyone who has the URL?
Not directly, but you could take a look at Wizarr.
- Sitting around after Easter dinner.
- If you share check this out
