Push DNS update / Create 'A' record from key generated on install.
I am working on this open source fork and there is a key pair that is generated on install/first run. I would like to use this key to make & update a dns record. For example, "public_key.user.domain.com". This is basically a form of dynamic dns. The users already specify which interface to use in the settings. The reason this is needed is because this is a p2p communications app. Both users must be directly routable. To accomplish this for users that are not on the same local network or do not have a public interface I am implementing a vpn client. I would think this should be fairly simple using a rest api on the dns server. As far as implementation using java or kotlin is where I get lost.
