My Personal "Self" Hosted Imgur
I currently have a DigitalOcean droplet that's hosting Zipline which is a web server to receive ShareX uploads and host them. It took a little bit of work to get it set up as I have absolutely zero experience with Docker, but now I had an image uploader.
- Looking for something to allow my friends to upload files to my vps easily

Looking for self-hosted alternative to imgur, temporary image file hosting
I use zipline. It's fast and easy to use. I have it set up in docker.

Any self-hosted solution to share a quick video that I recorded?
I use Zipline. It's a self-hosted ShareX server that you can also upload to from a web portal. It works with images, videos (any arbitrary file type, really) and even supports url shortening. It's served me pretty well when sharing things over Discord that are more than 8mb. This might be what you're looking for. Here's my docker-compose.yml file, assuming you have an existing docker network called "caddy_network":
- Looking for easy-peasy web server for the occasional sharing of large files
- Selfhosted Imgur alternative running on PHP

What are the actual security implications of port forwarding?
Detectify once made an offer of making free scans which I took them up on. There are plenty of free Content Security Policy (CSP) and other vulnerability checkers around such as Observatory or Pentest. Shields UP!! will identify which ports you have open.

First, for session persistence, go with the default Django session with cookie storage. Set your cookie to HTTP only and ensure your application uses the most common HTTP security headers and controls.
