daedalusdock VS Skyrat-tg

In place of Protolathes, comes Fabricators (sprites yoinked from goon and accredited https://github.com/DaedalusDock/daedalusdock/pull/310). They are functionally very similar, but in the absence of Techwebs, all of their designs are stored locally on an internal disk, which is now a construction requirement. Fabricators have a brand-spankin' new tab in their interface, which lets you manipulate the stored data after inserting an external Data Disk. Data Disks can be used to transfer Designs between Fabricators. Science has access to the Omnifab, which comes loaded with nearly every Design!

Daedalus Dock is a small, light-hearted roleplaying server running a codebase I've personally worked the last 6 months to craft from a Feburary fork of TGstation. It's only going to continue to diverge further, and I hope to be able to test the combat overhaul I've been working on since July.

I'm not going to claim we're an HRP codebase because we don't subscribe to any label., but our players tend to be on the more serious character-driven side over at daedalus13.net. We're having uptime for a test in 12 hours, come join.

A lot of people are whining about the supposed removal of antagonists from Skyrat. This sort of a half truth. Recently, there's been a new PR that disables rolling for non-gamemode antagonists. This includes Traitor, heretic, and Changeling, but not Assault Operatives or Wizard. The idea is that people can use the OPFOR system to request antagonist equipment to do whatever great antag idea when they feel like it, rather than having the pressure to use it or loose it.

yeah I still don't get calling it LRP, most people seemed to agree with what you're saying. But owner said "if people are using clown as an excuse for doing stuff like this then i'm removing it" People on skyrat tend to slap LRP on things they don't like way too often. there were a lot of funny joke PR's made around when clowns got removed, like this https://github.com/Skyrat-SS13/Skyrat-tg/pull/3943
