I use the default file browser in vim (netrw). I know there are plugins that a lot of people like. Should I switch?
But I mostly use ctrlp when I work with projects. A can recommend vim-ripgrep too, it lets you find strings/patterns in your project files.

You may find something like ctrlp useful. Some sort of fuzzy definition search.

My basic vim workflow is that I open vim, which opens NerdTree for me by default. I can find the file I want in NerdTree, or I can hit Ctrl+p to open a file with fuzzy searching.

Use Ctrl-P in a whole project
I have set the line let g:ctrlp_working_path_mode = 'r' and according to the GitHub repo it should allow Ctrl-P to do its searches in the whole project I'm in but it doesn't. It stop at the files opened by Neovim. Did I misunderstood the purpose of the plugin, or a I doing something wrong ?

tree-sitter highlighting in Vim and NeoVim
I'm thrilled to share that the latest vim-clap has now integrated the tree-sitter highlighting into Vim and NeoVim. It's a PoC implementation and not extensively tested though, bugs are expected. Some early feedback is highly appreciated, and read more in this post!

vim-clap update: Support the search syntax of fzf
It has been two years since I last posted about the update of vim-clap. A lot of features have been added to vim-clap since then, check out the CHANGELOG if you are interested. Today I want to share with you a feature that I want to support in vim-clap for quite a long time: the search syntax of fzf, which is powerful yet pretty handy in my opinion. speeding up Telescope?
I'll also take the occasion to recommend clap.vim, which is the picker I use. It's super cool, fast, and uses a rust backend for more intensive searches.

vim-clap supports filer so I can search for files in different directories outside my project.
