Unable to Firebase login in Android
It troubles me that those plugins seem to be unmaintained. That aside I've installed it, no bueno. Looking at the example code, seems I need to either alter their example to work with Ionic 5 or make the necessary changes to the first tutorial's code, neither of which looks straightforward to this newbie. Do you have Ionic 5 code that works around these plugins?

Bring app to foreground on push notification received
I am trying to bring my Capacitor 3 + Angular app in to the foreground when receiving a data only push message. The aim is to present the user with a “Phone ringing” screen like a normal call. I have been able to code in the push messages and have them receive and process but this is all when the app is running. I have tried using cordova plugin - background mode but it causes Gradle compile errors. I’m not sure where to go next - surely this is a common function so am unsure why I am unable to find help on this.

Keep Capacitor app awake in the background
Has anyone been able to keep a Capacitor 3 app running in the background on Android? I've tried using this powermanagement plugin, background mode plugin, etc. but app activity consistently stops after about 5 minutes of switching to another task.
