How to set up Clozed Addon
sorry if this is me being stupid but I just can't get the "Closet for Anki" Addon (https://ankiweb.net/shared/info/272311064) to work. There is this really nice website that "comes with it" (https://closetengine.com/) but I just don't know how to set up the things I see on the website in anki. And this addon seems really powerful so I would love to use it.
- How do you use Closet in Anki?
- anyone here knows how to use this addon ?

It's open source so you can just copy the spec. The community's built a syncing server here: https://github.com/ankicommunity/anki-sync-server
There's also a really interesting templating library that generates cards for Anki: https://closetengine.com/

Open Source Web port of Anki
Andy Matuschak, a researcher who works in the spaced repetition space, just open-sourced his research platform, Orbit, last week. If you aren't familiar with Andy, I recommend reading How can we develop transformative tools for thought? and Why Books Don't Work. It's damn good stuff.

Anki Add-On Idea: Orbit Sync
If you haven't tried out Orbit yet, I recommend it! (For either reading or writing.) I've been using Orbit a bit, but am experiencing a bit of friction going back-and-forth between Orbit notecards and Anki notecards. It'd be great to just have one system. Orbit and Anki are both open-source, so we should be able to create an Anki Add-On that syncs from Orbit.
- Orbit is now open source
