Did you use PHP time libraries like Chronos? It sounds like you looked at such libraries in other languages instead of using the PHP ones, if so are the PHP ones lacking compared to the ones you mentioned?

I am porting out some of my personal projects and sharing it as an opensource https://github.com/daison12006013/php-struct, long story short I moved some projects from PHP to Go, to do that I need to make things modular and applied strict typing first before I was able to migrate some of our modules to golang.
