Has anyone used this (repo) in production? Are there any drawbacks and is there significant performance overhead?

Thanks for the comments everyone. It gave me great understanding of the matter. After reading the github issue page, I came across Chimera https://github.com/Waytoon/chimera_flutter_code_push Do you guys think this is a good solution to circumvent the code-push issue?
