Using libadwaita with C++
https://gitlab.com/caveman250/Headlines is the only app I know of currently using both. You can just use the regular C when working in C++, no bindings necessary.

Instead you could look into reusing Quickddit which is a Qt-based app for SailfishOS. I already made an issue for Kirigami support a while ago but seeing the app is in low maintenance mode currently, maybe just a straight fork can be made.
