Help me find an article on how to wire simple 1 - 2 button keyboard without diode
Not specifically what you're looking for, but https://github.com/nilokr/cantor-remix is a 36 key diode-less open-source board that you might be able to get some concepts from. Keep in mind, if you don't wire a switch, then nothing breaks. You just need enough pins on the controller to handle the number of switches, so you could go a controller with less pins on a smaller board.

Cantor Remix w/ Sunsets - On the Way to Perfection
If you wanna DIY like I did the Cantor Remix github has a link to the buid guide for the original Cantor that is basically the same thing. The Remix repo will have the gerber.zip that you need to print the PCBs. I went through JLCPCB for my prints and they did a great job.

Finally, I designed my own Spkit Keyboard with trackpoint and encoder, low-profile, tilted, and stackable for portability, all that I wanted.
I added it on a [nilokr/cantor-remix: Cantor keyboard by diepala with minor changes](https://github.com/nilokr/cantor-remix) keyboard though, it worked nicely.

Gregoplex alternatives!
Is this a request for gergoplex alternatives? If so, the cantor remix is excellent & has a more aggressive pinkie stagger. I built two of them - one for home, and one for work.
