    Thorvalds was kind of right tbh. Lets take something C++ from that era like openITG for example. (https://github.com/openitg/openitg) it's a complete mess.... especially how they glued their lua engine in (xml doc of actors which then have lua scripts inside an xml element?!!? WTF?!) yeah hell no! I used to think C++ was superior but after writing for 4 years in pure C I start to value it's simplicity. It's a lot harder to create something complicated when you don't have crap like auto-pointers and function overloading...
