builder-vite VS Speed Measure Plugin

I was able to run storybook with the latest vite based build and storybook 6.5.9 https://github.com/storybookjs/builder-vite

FWIW I wanted to use pnpm workspaces over yarn workspaces, but we are not there yet when combining all these modern tools (e.g. Storybook/Vite + pnpm).

The biggest hurdle I've had recently is Storybook doesn't play well with Vite yet (storybook-builder-vite needs maintainers). So far we're getting by using the webpack builder, but this might not be an option depending on what vite plugins you need.

Support for Vite and other bundlers. Storybook was rearchitected to work with any bundler. The challenge here is that Storybook runs your components. So you need to be using Vite or Snowpack in your project too. Most teams don't do that yet because tools like CRA don't use it yet. But that's where we're all headed sooner or later.
