Can't seem to make MSYS2 GCC work at all
i finally found a fix! turns out the download from microsoft was simply totally outdated. all I did was use this one from the MSYS2 site directly and just used every command in the ucrt terminal. hope this helps!

is this safe?
so i just performed a clean install on my device and wanted to bring back some of the apps i owned, and as for c++ compliler, is this https://github.com/msys2/msys2-installer/releases/download/2022-01-18/msys2-x86_64-20220118.exe safe to use? it's been taken from this : https://code.visualstudio.com/docs/cpp/config-mingw website do you think that the instruction on the vs code website code lead to sth malicious?

Error faced when Installing Haskell using GHcup
Yeah, make sure your curl.exe is functional, e.g. by trying to run curl.exe -L -O https://github.com/msys2/msys2-installer/releases/download/2022-03-19/msys2-x86_64-20220319.exe.
