I use BTTV and got it from here https://github.com/bttv-android/bttv/releases/tag/v0.35.1-beta Scroll down and it should be there.

Can't login due to "Please update your device" error even though phone is Android 7.0 and app only needs 5.0
You could try a different Twitch app like the one from BTTV https://github.com/bttv-android/bttv/releases/tag/v0.35.0-beta

Excuse me but since when there are patches for Twitch?!
I use BTTV on Android (although it's unaffiliated with BTTV itself). It's basically the same concept as the original Vanced in that it looks exactly like the actual Twitch app, but it blocks ads and allows the use of FFZ, BTTV, and 7TV emotes. It also self-updates.

[question] Are there similar apps for Spotify and Twitch, Rumble?
For twitch there's several options including TwitchMod and BTTV. I prefer TwitchMod, but it appears to have been discontinued last month and the devs are now working on a new project called orangeTV

I wrote an open source mod of an Android App
Due to the usage of git it is easy to apply the changes to a new version of the Twitch app, when it comes out. Of course there are always merge conflicts but most of the patches can be merged surprisingly easily. What is a problem though are the thousands of classes in the Twitch app. I can't verify that nothing significant has changed and update the mocks by hand. That's why I wrote a tool that checks for changes in methods and properties of classes between updates: ubi. It is quite verbose and a lot of the reports it generates can be ignored, but it does improve the quality of the mod as I can act on changes statically, before running into crashes.
