Is anyone else's controller placement bugged in beat saber? This is a fresh install, with no mods, no nothing. Already verified the files and it turned up clean. Any other ideas? This is also a beat saber problem but their sub is currently partaking in the protest and I can't post there.
This is a Beat Saber problem, they upgraded Unity in 1.30 and f*cked up controller positions. Use BSManager to download 1.29.1 or 1.28 (this version is most stable in my experience). Also it will help you with the unwanted updates breaking mods problem.

Perfect. Download BS Manager, then you can download a version of the game from before that pack was updated, without losing access to the updated game

This is why even though I'm using a Quest 2, I don't bother with the Quest-native Beat Saber and instead play the Windows/Steam version through PC link.
On Windows there's several utilities to keep your Beat Saber version and mods frozen. The utility I use, BSManager[0], also symlinks your beatmaps folder so it's shared between versions, making it easy to switch between arbitrary versions at will.
With that setup I play one setup for extended periods and only upgrade when custom maps start using frills from newer versions. I'm currently playing on 1.27.0 even though the current version of Beat Saber is up to 1.30.0.

First time installing custom songs and stuff
You can either wait until mods are updated, it usually doesent take too long. Or you can get bs-manager and install an older version with working mods

Is there anywhere to stay up to date with Beat Saber mods?
Get bs-manager, it lets you install multiple versions of beatsaber that you dont have to update. You can just install your version of choice and never have to worry about updates again.
