bridge
Bridge is a Typescript Node.js framework that provides an easy and scalable way to create REST APIs while generating the client code. Our goal is to make Bridge a great framework for both frontend and backend teams, so if you're familiar with Node.js and Typescript, you'll feel right at home. (by bridge-codes)

How to create and deploy an (express) Bridge app with Vercel
Vercel is a platform to host frontend applications and static sites but you can also host an express app using serverless functions. I've been using it for quite some time (mainly for frontend stuff) but it can also deploy your Expressjs backend! We will see how to create a Bridge app and deploy it to Vercel.

How would you start a new node mid to large size project ?
I'd suggest you have a look at Bridge https://github.com/bridge-codes/bridge. It works well with Express too, it will increase the productivity of the frontend team (espacially using multiple clients/different languages).

I built an interactive code explorer
Live: https://bridge.codes/studio Repo: https://github.com/bridge-codes/bridge Although the code is not perfect and may require some fine-tuning for other cases, I am still proud of the results I have achieved. Also, if you are also a backend developer, don't hesitate to tell me what you think about Bridge (Node Typescript framework), I'm always open to suggestions and willing to improve things :)

I built an animated code walkthrough which can also display information & types.
That’s what we did on the homepage https://bridge.codes, i made this specific page only to show the component

What practices do you recommend for a startup using Next.js, fullstack with tRPC vs seperate backend with express?
If tRPC is too complicated, have a look at my much much simpler rpc lib: restfuncs. GraphQL is even more complicated. Also have a look at telefunc. It's also an RPC. Cause this guy puts much effort into SSR stuff. Here's a comparison table.

What's your node setup for building api's?
Hr, right, i already made a feature comparison table. Have a look.

Also enter your self into the RPC frameworks hall of fame ;)
- I've made a big comparison table of nodejs RPC frameworks. Hope you like it ;)
What are some alternatives?
When comparing bridge and RPCFrameworksComparison you can also consider the following projects:
vercel-action - This action make a deployment with github actions instead of Vercel builder.
Hasura - Blazing fast, instant realtime GraphQL APIs on your DB with fine grained access control, also trigger webhooks on database events.
