Bi-Weekly Questions Thread
You might also want to use Brentspector's fork, or some experimental branch of ZX, if you are looking for specific features. Though the former is slowly falling more behind as afaik Brentspector has stopped working on it, and experimental branches can be buggy and have to be built before using.
This version of the UPR works with FireRed Randomizable 809.
Randomizers generally don't like ROM hacks, unless they are built-in of course like with Unbound. The Universal Pokémon Randomizer (UPR) relies on manually entered offsets for ROMs, like where tables for all the data are found. (for examples, look in the .ini files here) It is possible to enter these offsets for ROM hacks too, but afaik it has only ever been done to Gaia, Randomizable 809, and a few Speedchoice ROMs.
There is, in Brentspector’s branch.
Brentspector’s branch of the UPR should work with FireRed 809 Randomizable (not to be confused with 898 Randomizer!).
Gaia can be randomized with its own customized randomizer, and FireRed Randomizable 809 can be as well, with the best support in Brentspector’s branch of the UPR.

Version 1.10.0 of Universal Pokemon Randomizer
If you have a ROM hack you want supported (and it's Gen 3), then yes. This will also enable adding in support for Static pokemon. There is no full list of possible overrides, but most can be found between the Fire Red 1.1 (U) in gen3_offsets.ini and the gen3_hack_offsets.ini file. Let me know if you want more details. I'd love to expand support for more hacks.
- I'm about to start a randomized FireRed nuzlocke guys. Who do you suggest I pick? Allow impossible evolutions is enabled, along with random teams for trainers, and random TM's.

How to install the fan translation of the first fe game?
You need to patch your rom with the translation patch. On PC there's offline patchers, but using something like https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/ is probably easiest on mobile.

I must know, how do you emulate fire emblem on a windows laptop?
In that case, you're gonna need a ROM, an emulator (https://www.zophar.net/snes/snes9x.html), a translation patch (https://forums.serenesforest.net/index.php?/topic/63676-fe4-translation-patch-open-beta-v7/#comments), and a patcher (https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/). Theres different patches for different versions of the game, but the readme in the translation patch tells you which patch to use for your file.

I got into the SMT series with SMTV but I have a question about how to play games 1 and 2
Do you have a 3DS or PSP? I hacked mine and it’s really convenient to play old games on. There’s lots of homebrew tutorials on YouTube. For those games you need to put a translation patch on the rom (I usually use this website to patch stuff). Or sometimes you can find a rom that someone already patched. All this might sound complicated, but trust me it’s not. I barely know anything about computers and this kinda thing, but I figured this stuff out.

Did anyone manage to run color hacks of Gameboy games (or DX hacks) on RG Nano? I found some information and threads about this on Funkey S, but was unable to get things running on RG Nano.
I usually get my patches from Romhacking.net, and they specify which ROM you'll need in the the ROM / ISO Information section in each page. For patching, I use Floating IPS. You just need the .ips patch and a copy of the right ROM. You could also use online patchers, like the one over at www.marcrobledo.com.

Should I play Pokémon Glazed or Pokémon Blazed Glazed?
You need to patch it first with a clean emerald rom (Emerald.gba (Trashman)) . Using https://www.marcrobledo.com/RomPatcher.js/
