Rule Tools
Have you found the Hubitat Package Manager yet? Event Engine is just one of a plethora of custom apps from bptworld I found while browsing the list of apps that have support for Package Manager. It will not only install/remove apps/drivers for you, but it will also notify/install updates. I was so pleased when I discovered the Universal Ecobee Suite was also supported by HPM. I did not relish the idea of having to manually track each of the child processes and manually update the app and driver code whenever there were new versions.

Transition from Wink a lot less painless than I thought it would be
One very prolific dev is Bryan Turcotte that has all kinds of custom apps that save tons of time figuring out how to wrestle rule manager around some things.

SmartThings Wi-Fi Smart Plug Edge Question: 7A-PL-W-A1
I personally prefer the old tasmota-connect edge driver cuz it's open source and has been working fine for me: https://github.com/hongtat/tasmota-connect There's also a newer driver by the same author on the community that's closed source and is limited 5 devices unless your pay to upgrade.

Is there a getting started with Tasmota guide?
There are solutions for that such as https://github.com/hongtat/tasmota-connect
