Boost 1.82.0 is released
I’m working on a pet project squid (inspired by SOCI) that has exactly that goal. But I agree that having that in Boost would be great, particularly in combination with Boost.Asio.
What are some alternatives?
When comparing cmake and squid you can also consider the following projects:
Boost - Super-project for modularized Boost
UppHub - UppHub is the repository that serves as the official global registry for U++ distributed packages. Each package provides additional functionality that can be used directly by the developers.
cget - C++ package retrieval
crates.io - The Rust package registry
STL - MSVC's implementation of the C++ Standard Library.
yacpm - Easy to use, fast, git sourced based, C/C++ package manager.
daw_json_link - Fast, convenient JSON serialization and parsing in C++
CPM.cmake - 📦 CMake's missing package manager. A small CMake script for setup-free, cross-platform, reproducible dependency management.
