File manager written in awk
Really coding time until now is roughly 6 days. The structure is continued with my previous project bib.awk. I feel that what's really difficult is to find a structure that I like. I wish to follow the Unix philosophy, and thus both fm.awk and bib.awk is actually separated into "content" part and "menu" part. "menu" part is equivalent for both projects, the only difference is the content part. I fail to simplify and unify "menu" part in bib.awk, and by building fm.awk, I actually able to concentrate and simplify a lot of the "menu" part.

I even wrote a native tui for bib.awk
bib.awk is my own bibliography manager that written in awk. Originally it relies on shellect, which is the menu system I wrote in shell.
The corresponding TUI code for bib.awk with native TUI is in this link. Hope that you will enjoy it!

Use awk to filter pdf file
I am the creator of bib.awk, and today I am thinking that I should use as less as external programs as possible. bib.awk: terminal bibliography manager written in awk
line 80's getline is the actual TUI part. The TUI for my code is using another project called shellect. shellect will accept the variable list to display, and then output variable response back to bib.awk script to go to the next level of choice. Therefore, bib.awk is actually relying on shellect as the TUI interface. bib.awk itself does not have TUI interface.
