What are your favorites not that popular nvim plugins ?
For me it's better-escape.nvim -> Escape from insert mode without delay when typing
-
Set it and forget it plugins?
max397574/better-escape.nvim - i use jk/kj for insert mode so this makes it smoother
- Your favourite Neovim plugins?

Having issue installing plugin with LazyVim
I'm trying to install https://github.com/max397574/better-escape.nvim in a separate file in .config/nvim/lua/plugins.

How can a keymap only execute if the last key in the key sequence is pressed?
I just tested a probably hacky and unintentional way around this, but better-escape lets you remap sequences in i-mode to do kinda whatever. In the 'keys' key of the config table, it defaults to '' but I changed it to ':wi' and it seems to work. Don't want to be the person that tells you to rely on this for some big project without serious testing though.

Vim and Colemak-dh: suggestions on remapping "escape Insert mode"?
I could use better-escape.nvim so that there's less probability of clashing. Not sure how practical so that it's 100% no clashing. I never have any clashes with jk.
- My favorite way to leave insert mode
-
How to remap double Esc entered quickly to Normal Mode + Write? (Linux)
Maybe try the better escape plugin and set the escape key in that plugin to ":w!".
-
mapping "jk" to Esc is not working using inoremap in replace mode
I like using better-escape.nvim as it removes the delay that you get with using a mapping. You can certainly use a mapping for it, but it's much more comfortable with this plugin.
-
Remap esc to something a little bit more comfortable?
I also use "jk", like a tons of people I think, additionally I installed this little plugin that make the experience veeeery smooth: better-escape

nvim-peekup: release v0.1.0 - have fun with vim registers!
Have a look at the plugin repository, it is a fun way to interact with vim registers, an aspect that is often overlooked by many users.
-
I tend to paste from the wrong register
You could use my plugin (normal mode only) :-)
-
A blatant plagarism of my plugin from the author of better-escape.nvim
I understand your concern but ultimately open sourcing projects means exactly that people are free to take them and use/re-write them at will (unless specified otherwise, and even in that case you shouldn't have open sourced it in the first place otherwise). I myself am the author of nvim-peekup and shortly after I published an extremely similar plugin was born (exactly same functionalities, slight minor changes) - I won't cite it because I don't want to spotlight them (but you could find it in any list of nvim plugins nowadays) and because my code being free means people can copy&paste at will.
-
How do the numbered registers work exactly? Is there an efficient way to deal with them?
A plugin that helps with that is nvim-peekup :)
-
What are your favorite Neovim plugins exclusive to 0.5?

someone wrote a sexier version of it: nvim-peekup (neovim only) :p
-
a'ight, does anyone really use any of those gazillion vim registers?
You can now opt out of the delay. Credits to u/mfontani for this and other features!
-
Get register @n from lua?
This is how (with a little self-promotion of my plugin) :p
-
