Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Bill To Make Bitcoin, Ethereum, Litecoin and Bitcoin Cash Means of Payments for State Agencies Hits New York.
Good question. Besides all the usual NFT mumbo jumbo, there are interesting things you can do with smart contracts in the context of everyday money, such as zero-conf escrows.

Something nice is being built behind the scene, part 2!!!

Lisa wants to pay with Bitcoin Cash but her wallet is empty. Video re-enactment of a real-life scenario.
As for escrows, well, I guess you're just late to the party. https://github.com/bitjson/bch-zce

Adding "fast" to the dream of Bitcoin. Is Doublespend proofs the BCH way?
Not sure the current status of the feature but here is a writeup explaining what it is: https://github.com/bitjson/bch-zce
-
Zero-confirmation escrows, or ZCEs, are on-chain Bitcoin Cash smart contracts that enable secure, instant payments with zero double-spend risk.
Your other comment says "Great work" and in the parent comment your opinion is that Taproot is already obsolete. Did you read the ZCE chip and what it states about Taproot?

I'm pretty much done with BCH π©
The question here is whether it creates value. That particular author writing about BCH still creates value. Maybe his thoughts will resonate with some people better than something like this (https://github.com/bitjson/bch-zce). It is exceptional work by an exceptional individual... but someone with an average intelligence won't understand it (I know because I don't understand it fully either :) )...

I'm working on using a Dead Manβs Switch to prevent assets being locked in your wallet after your death. Powered by Blockchain!
Note that a smart wallet for Bitcoin-tech doesn't exist, so if you implement a contract, you need to "teach" some wallet how to spend from the template. Dream is to have an universal wallet that can easily import contract templates, things like LibAuth and BitauthIDE were built with that goal, we're getting there!
- Anyone know where to find the "idiot's guide" to libauth? Working examples would be nice

Any devs have advice on how to create a website similar to memo.cash?
To craft the transactions you'd also need a library, maybe something like https://libauth.org/ or you could craft the transactions by hand by reading on https://documentation.cash/

[AMA] I'm Jason Dreyzehner, author of PMv3 β a v3 TX format enabling prediction markets and other decentralized applications on Bitcoin Cash. Ask Me Anything!
I've been building this "user space" tooling in Libauth (a lightweight, zero-dependency JS/TS library), and I would love to work with anyone interested on building that tooling in other languages/libraries too!
