FYI: I installed emacs29 with native compilation on android
If you are interested, here's my nix config https://github.com/bbigras/nix-config/blob/0cd62099f3b7cd85aeb918b20dd905fd551425b4/hosts/pixel6/default.nix . Basically, I'm building my config with GitHub actions (and qemu for aarch64), I'm sharing nix files for my phone and other computers and I'm pushing it with deploy-rs from my desktop to my phone with ssh (so I don't have to build anything on the phone).

Importing home manager module for NUR with nix flakes
I found a solution here that works. nurNoPkgs is defined as nurNoPkgs = import inputs.nur { pkgs = null; nurpkgs = pkgs; }; The emacs-init module is imported in the same file as home-manager.users.bbigras = { imports = [ ../../users/bbigras/trusted nurNoPkgs.repos.rycee.hmModules.emacs-init ]; }; I have both of these in my flake.nix and it all works!

Using home-manager as module. Emacs configuration applies to root but no to user
I do this through a HM module I put together, programs.emacs.init (documentation).
