What are the best designs to cheap out? E.g. Reviung34 only needs 1 controller.
There seems to be a Cantor MX version: https://github.com/azhizhinov/cantor/tree/Cherry-MX-version-with-KS-27-support

Diagnostics on Keyboard PCB Shorting A Key
I'm having an issue on my Crowboard build that one of the switches is shorted pressed even with the switch and diode removed. I've tried multiple raspberry pi picos to prove that wasn't the issue at least.

I’m really digging the crowboard by Doesntfazer (keyboardDweebs.net). 36 keys, one mcu (pi pico, way better than the pro micro and has more memory, cheaper too and is available on Amazon). STL files for case is available. Pre made vial firmware available as well. Only downside is that you’ll need to solder some diodes. Other than that it’s pretty cheap to make and put one together. You can go caseless/plateless.

my work setup is starting to look pretty awesome! New Deskmat
I updated the build guide last night if you wanna check it out. My pcb vendor just shipped those out this morning, so I am hoping I get them in sometime in the next week? As soon as those come in, I will ship out all the backorders. Usually shipping isn't more than a week.
What are some alternatives?
