How does Nice work?
for a few days now I've been trying to get Nice to work on awesome as it's supposed to. Whenever I get to this instruction and change my rc.lua file it just makes the titlebars empty and transparent.

Double border that follows the shape of the client?
As far as I know, double borders can be achieved with four title bars, one for each side. This is how it is done in the nice module (the screenshot above). This post and this GitHub issue also mention this solution.

Is it possible to automatically set window titlebar colors to blend in with the contents?
Now I know this is possible in AwesomeWM (https://github.com/mut-ex/awesome-wm-nice), but I want to use KDE. Thank you in advance.

Is it possible to change titlebar width?
It's been a while since I switched over to nice for handling title bars, but iirc, the title bars are just widgets. Each side is a wibox, which supports everything wibox does. In that sense, you can simply set a height property if I'm not mistaken.

Possible to draw cairo surface on a client?
Here is a project with advanced use of titlebar. If I get it, you want to do something similar, so you can take a look at it, I guess https://github.com/mut-ex/awesome-wm-nice

Windows decorations, how to make rounded corners?
I don't think it's possible to round the bottom corners with KDecoration but there is a KWin effect called ShapeCorners that will round the corners of borderless windows. There is a fork which can also draw a thin translucent border inside the window called LightlyShaders

Help installing a plasma extension
Hi! I want to install the LightlyShaders kwin effect on my laptop. This seems to be a complex effect that I need to compile instead of just go to the "Install new effects" button. I followed the compiling instructions (using nix-shell to get all the dependencies) but the effect doesn't appear on the configuration window. I think this is related to how nixos directory tree works. So, any idea of how I can install this? Thanks!

Removing this window boarder
I tried installing Lightlyshaders curved window border. But it didn't turn out like the pictures. Was wondering if there is a way to remove the rectangular box the window seems to have so I can have nice-looking curved windows. I looked everywhere and didn't see a solution maybe I was using the wrong search terms.
