The number of mentions indicates the total number of mentions that we've tracked plus the number of user suggested alternatives.
Stars - the number of stars that a project has on GitHub. Growth - month over month growth in stars.
Activity is a relative number indicating how actively a project is being developed. Recent commits have higher weight than older ones.
For example, an activity of 9.0 indicates that a project is amongst the top 10% of the most actively developed projects that we are tracking.

Embedded System Security
All the people saying embedded systems is too broad of a field to give you a straight answer are annoying as shit lol. Here are some generic resources that should guide you in a solid direction toward whatever you have planned: https://github.com/fkie-cad/awesome-embedded-and-iot-security The Hardware Hacking Handbook: Breaking Embedded Security with Hardware Attacks https://azeria-labs.com/

Is taking the Security+ Exam useful for going into embedded security?
It looks like it could help, especially in the context of IoT and embedded Linux. You’ll still have a lot of blanks to fill in with respect to operational technology, hardware-based cybersecurity, distributed systems, etc. but any cyber-specific certification is better than none. Check out the Awesome Embedded Cybersecurity github for links and Azeria Labs for some good embedded cybersec content.

How do I get into hardware hacking?
Finally, this is very heavily biased towards security-research and IoT hacking, but there's a great list of books, tools, papers, etc here: https://github.com/fkie-cad/awesome-embedded-and-iot-security

My printer is having problems printing more than one shape, the benchy for example breaks off when printing the poles
Of course he is not on a Neptune but the process is the same except for how you update the e-steps once you have calculated the correct number. You will need to locate the elegoo.txt file from your original software. Once you have that, you’ll need to open it in a txt editor and scroll down to the Stepper Motor Settings section and the look for Default E0 Steps & Default E1 Steps. Once you have them, you replace the numbers with your new calculated numbers. Make sure you are using the correct .txt file for your printer. A Neptune 2 will have approximately 90 steps in the file as default as opposed to a 2S that will have either 133 or 134. If you can’t find your original, here is a link to get it: https://github.com/mlee12382/Elegoo-Neptune-Firmware/blob/main/Elegoo Neptune 2-2S-2D Firmware.zip

Need ELEGOO.TXT for 1.0.3 to install MKS Wifi card

Neptune 2 add 2nd E Stepper
Try this older version of the firmware https://github.com/mlee12382/Elegoo-Neptune-Firmware be sure to check the readme and the pdf in the zip to select the correct version of the firmware.

BLTouch help
Try this video it might be what you need if you're trying to figure out what the offset measurements are https://youtu.be/fN_ndWvXGBQ you will need to update the values in the elegoo.txt file before you flash the firmware, while you're at it you might want to take the opportunity to enable pidtempbed to 1 instead of 0 so that you can run a pid tune on the bed if you ever need /want to. You can also increase the number of probe points by changing the values for GRID_MAX_POINTS_X and GRID_MAX_POINTS_Y I have mine set to 7x7 but you can go up to 15x15 just be aware the higher the number the longer it will take to create the mesh. If you need the complete firmware you can get it here

Little Guide for Neptune 2 and 2S
https://github.com/mlee12382/Elegoo-Neptune-Firmware/tree/main here's the stock firmware but it's set up for auto bed leveling, not hard to modify for manual leveling though

I done messed up. Ideas on a new main board?
Yeah and while I was waiting on the warranty replacement I figured I would try to replace the blown voltage regulator chip and I got lucky and it works so the warranty board is still sitting in the box waiting for a future project lol. Complete firmware from elegoo. Elegoo currently doesn't have the complete firmware on their website it's just the config file so I uploaded the zip file from before they changed it. Follow the pdfs for install and selecting the correct firmware version. You shouldn't have to modify the elegoo.txt unless you're using a different mount than they provide stl for or unless you want to increase the number of probe points.
