How can I become a strong candidate for a comp. neuroscience MS/Ph.D. program?
I have a list of research labs on neuro (https://github.com/eselkin/awesome-computational-neuroscience). Most of them are in the U.S., so my choices are from the U.S. labs but not the top ones.

How to find research groups working on predictive processing?
I’ll be applying to graduate programs in the fall, and I’ve been eyeing predictive processing as something I might find interesting. Since I assume the next step would be to try and find faculty in this, area I was wondering how I should go about doing this. I did come across this fine resource https://github.com/eselkin/awesome-computational-neuroscience, however it doesn’t seem to have many people explicitly interested in this domain. Additionally my impression is that a lot of the research is centred around institutions in the UK (like UCL) which seems to be omitted from this list. If anyone can identify some institutions that I should take a look at or similarly compiled resources specifically for predictive processing I’d be grateful. I assume my main alternative would be to look for papers in this field, and then check out the authors?

What are the top computational neuroscience PhD programs in the computer science departments?
You kinda don’t wanna focus on an “overall ranking” for PhD programs. They’re likely very opinionated as your PhD degree is topic specific. Here’s a list of some schools that partake in Comp Neuroscience Research. However, ironic as it is you’re going to be doing research to obtain your PhD and that research process starts with the school you’re wanting to choose
